In the interest of everyone’s safety from the COVID-19 virus, we are sad to announce that Peace Montessori will continue our online lessons for the remainder of this year which ends June 12.
The building may be closed until August, but we are looking ahead and are excited to be enrolling for the 2020-21 school year!
We have an Elementary program, two Children’s Houses and a Toddler Program to accommodate children ages 2 through age 12. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call (919) 363-2461 for more info. Thank you!
Programs are the focus of our mission as a Montessori School. Of course, you want to be sure our programs meet your child’s needs. Please take a few moments to review our programs. We’re happy to answer your questions about how our programs will contribute to your child’s academic, physical and spiritual growth.
You can tell a lot about a school just from photos. Rather than slick glossy PR photos, we want to show you authentic behind-the-scenes views of day-to-day life at our school. Come meet our staff, see children engaged and involved in classroom activities, and view our clean, well-kept facilities.
Enrolling your child in our school will be a huge commitment. We welcome any questions you have and encourage you to contact us before making your decision. In the meantime, please explore this site for a sense of our philosophy and to learn more about the environment your child will experience at Peace Montessori School.

You are looking for the best educational experience for your child. It means a lot to us that you are considering Peace Montessori School. We so much appreciate that you’d take a few minutes to explore our website. Yes, it is our “shop front” and you can discover a lot about the school from the information and photos here. But to really know what we are about I encourage you to contact us to schedule a visit. It’s only in person that you can see the quality of our facilities and Montessori classrooms, meet our caring and dedicated Montessori-certified staff and of course get a feel for the exceptional educational experience we promise your child.
Sharon Bryant, School Director
Our dedicated teachers are the bedrock of our school. All of our teachers are Montessori-certified and teach to the highest standards you’d expect in a Montessori setting. Most of our teachers have been with the school since its founding in 2003, testifying to the enduring and supportive environment in which they nurture young minds. Teachers work closely with parents to develop a program that meets a child’s specific needs. They’re delighted to meet with parents, so please don’t hesitate to contact us to schedule a visit.
Our parents are a wonderful community! As a Peace Montessori parent you can be sure you are joining a group of like-minded folks who recognize the special value a Montessori education will give their child. Of course, we rely on our parents as partners in the education of their child. We provide information and resources to help parents maximize their child’s benefit from the Montessori environment, while also expecting parents to contribute with volunteer time and participating in school events and special occasions. On a day-to-day basis we communicate with parents to give updates and news on school events, weather closings and fundraisers.
Our toddlers engage in exciting activities, in a caring, nurturing learning environment.
The Children’s House Program is taught by certified Montessori teachers to AMS standards.
